It has given me the opportunity of learning at such a great environment with goals that match my own. I was able to see a realistic vision of my future here. Teachers and classmates were friendly and helpful. It truly played a large role for my first successful university year. Mr. Wilker, you are an incredible teacher with such great insight! My experience as a Archer Preparatory College student is truly amazing. I still remember, on the first day of school, how I wondered if I could have great high school years seeing the size of the school. I asked myself, Am I going to learn anything? Am I going to make good friends through the school year? However, my wonders were totally gone after the first class I took here. I found that there was a big advantage of being in a small class - especially for students like me whose background is not Canadian. I could interact more with teachers and students. It always felt easy asking questions and to speak in English without any hesitation. Every day was a tremendous learning experience! Furthermore, no matter how timid we are, we all ended up getting to know each other. And I think that is cool. Unlike other big schools where I wouldn't have been able to get to know all the students, here I know everyone. And this helps me to build up my confidence and to feel more involved in the school. I am sure it was the same for all of you.
We are all gifted individuals. Let's not be afraid of what we will do, but like our school motto, let's face the future with honesty, perseverance and wisdom!

1997 Archer Preparatory College has provided education at the
junior and secondary level (grades 7-12) to local and
international students in a relaxed, friendly and supportive
atmosphere.
The individual student is a highly valued part of the school community and is encouraged to share his/her talents and ideas to enhance the spirit of diversified learning.
Our newly renovated facilities are wheelchair accessible and include well-lit, air-conditioned classrooms, quiet study areas, media lab, art lab, science lab, resource center, full-service cafeteria and fitness centre.
Student services include career counseling, homestay/residence placement and health insurance for international students, post-secondary application process and access to wireless internet.

The 21st century is one of challenge and change and Archer Preparatory College is the place where students can face the challenge of a successful future and become forces for change in our society. Education is what makes the most significant difference in the future of our world and education is what we are all about. With our experienced, caring teachers we offer outstanding academic programs as well as a secure and welcoming environment in which to study. Our graduates can compete with any students in Ontario and earn a place at one of our fine universities or colleges. In fact, a number of our graduate students have received scholarships for their strong academic standing from University of Toronto, York and Ryerson, McMaster and Queen's, to name a few.
