Having
read
a couple
of articles

out
some
Vancouver
schools
which
offered
a TESL
programme.
I chose
Archer
based
on an
interview
with
Laura

just
before
Christmas,
2005.
For
6 weeks
starting
in early
January,
Laura

Taslim
(2 impressive
pros)
demonstrated
the
various
aspects
of ESL
teaching
and
provided
us with
detailed
feedback
on several
practice
teaching
sessions.
Aside
from
Laura
and
Taslim,
the
best
feature
of the
Archer
TESL
programme
was
the
opportunity
to practise
ESL
teaching
- in
a real
ESL
classroom
- not
with
fellow
TESL
students,
but
with
real
ESL
students
(from
various
home
countries)
right
at the
College.
This
opportunity
fueled
my growing
confidence.
Within
a month
of graduating,
I had
received
several
job
offers
from
Vancouver
language
schools.
Within
two
months,
I was
working
fulltime
with
a leading
school

in town.
I'm
really
happy
that
I made
this
career
change

that
I chose
Archer
to help
me take
the
first
steps
in this
direction.
Thanks
for
everything,
