This
100-hour program follows
the same curriculum as
the on-campus programs,
however observation classes
and practice teaching
sessions are not included.
Students may do and get
credit for practice teaching
sessions, which can be
arranged by the student
or done on our campus,
as an extended practicum.
The course can be started
at any time - the first
module will be mailed
out immediately after
student registration is
received.

The program
requires approximately three
to six months to complete,
depending on how much time
your schedule allows you
to spend on assignments
each week.

The program contains a
textbook and four modules
which guide you through
the text.

The fourth module is a
research project, involving
topics based on TEFL classroom
situations that you may
come across while teaching
overseas, is included in
the tuition of the Distance
Education Program and is
considered the fourth module
of the program.

You will also receive
a "Job Search Manual"
to guide you in your overseas
job search.

After completing this
course, students may upgrade
their certificate to a 120-hour
certificate with the extended
practicum.

One year is given to
complete the program.
There will be a charge
for an extension of three
