Archer
Preparatory provides
a preparation program
for students to
successfully study
in college and university
in Canada. It is
designed to enable
students to study
the required Grade
12 mathematics,
English and other
courses while providing
extra practice and
support to improve
English language
skills.
Students wishing
to enter university
must have a High
School Diploma or
the equivalent of
30 credits (plus
6 - 4U credits)
to apply to university.
Many students take
a English Literacy
Skills course to
prepare them for
the 4U level English.
These credits not
only increase a
student's English
ability to the required
university and college
level, but also
provide a solid
introduction and
exposure to the
style of education
in North America.
This early exposure
will enable students
to succeed in their
post-secondary studies.
Archer Preparatory
College offers credits
at the 4U level
in Cantonese, Mandarin
and Korean, permitting
students to obtaining
a higher over-all
average. Guidance
and counselling
are also available
to all students
to help them complete
the university application
process.
Our TOEFL Preparation
classes teach students
the reading, writing,
grammar and vocabulary
building skills
and offer practice
tests to develop
the confidence and
the ability that
they need to achieve
a high score on
this university
and college entrance
test.
