The
education
system
in the
province
of Ontario
requires
four
years
of study
(grades
9 -
12)
to obtain
an Ontario
Secondary
School
Diploma
(OSSD).
To earn
an Ontario
Secondary
School
Diploma
(OSSD)
you
must:
- earn
18 compulsory
credits,
- earn
12 optional
credits,
- complete
40 hours
of community
involvement,
and
- pass
the
provincial
secondary
school
literacy
test.
A discussion
with
an Archer
counsellor
will
help
place
you
in the
correct
level
to enable
you
to complete
your
High
School
Diploma
(OSSD)
and/or
to prepare
for
university
or college
entrance.
